Below is a short list of enhancements we’ve made in the last 12 months, as well as a feature we’re working to roll out by year-end.

CDN Network Integration

We now deliver the images on your website from a Content Delivery Network (CDN), which means those photos are no longer stored on your website to slow down its performance. When your website comes up on a Web browser it loads very fast, with the images actually loading from another source called a CDN. Google is requiring websites to be lightning fast in order to rank highly in organic search, and employing a CDN to load images to viewers’ screens is a big speed enhancement.

Blog Repurposing & Enhanced Backlinking

For those of you who’ve been with us for 24 months or more, we’ve added a new strategy to your monthly blogging which helps your blog articles rise to page 1 of the search engines faster. For a good explanation, just Google ‘blog repurposing’. But there’s more. We added a new backlinking strategy to our blogging to get your website a dozen more high-quality backlinks each year. When it comes to organically ranking your website in search, Google loves backlinks, and now you’re getting more each month than ever before. It’s our own proprietary system of arranging for all our clients to help each other, and if you’d like to see exactly how it works, just ask your WPC to demonstrate it.

Modernization of Website Appearance

If you haven’t noticed, your website is now wider on-screen with an improved and easier to use and navigate sidebar. It looks modern, fresh, up-to-date, and we often hear from you that your customers really like the look. That’s a good reflection on your business, and it brings in more business which is what we’re all about here.

New Call-Tracking System

We recently upgraded to a new call-tracking vendor called Nimbata, and your call reporting is now better and easier with more information available for those of you interested in deeper analysis. If you haven’t yet explored your new call-tracking dashboard, please ask your Web Presence Consultant to demonstrate it for you.

Second Server for More Speed

For those of you who we’ve built a website for (most of you), we upgraded the way we host your site a couple of years ago. In our ongoing quest for faster load speed, which translates to higher organic ranking of your site in search and more business for you, we moved your site to a WP Engine server, the Ferrari of hosting services. It’s a significantly higher cost to us, but at no higher charge to you. This year we added a second WP Engine server to split the hosting load for even faster website delivery to your customers’ computer and smartphone screens.

Increased Staffing

This year we added experienced new staff members in our writing, webmastering and information systems departments to better serve you. We now do things faster and at a higher level than ever before.

Organic Rank Progress Reporting

The second page of your monthly performance report now includes specifics on your website’s organic ranking progress. This better helps us see where we need to focus our SEO efforts on your behalf each month, and gives you a clear idea of what’s happening with your website’s organic search rank over time for the search terms you want your business to be found for.

SPAM Prevention

SPAM is on the rise, and we are rising to the occasion by proactively blocking bad form submissions and comments on your website. We’ve developed some of our own code to block comments that may contain malicious links, as well as added a service to filter all form submissions through a massive database of SPAM IP addresses.

Ad Click Fraud Prevention

We’ve also invested in a premium click fraud prevention tool to ensure that none of your budget is wasted on robot clicks or other nefarious ad click activity. This new development can save the average account 15% or more in wasted click cost, including blocking any competitors from repeatedly clicking on your ads to use up your budget and slow down your business.
